OUR ATHLETES

Right To Play is supported by an international network of more than 300 professional and Olympic athletes from more than 40 countries. As role models, these athletes inspire and celebrate children, raise awareness and lend their celebrity to the cause.

WHY ATHLETES? Our Ambassadors share our values and believe in the power of play in a child’s life. Having experienced the positive impact of sport on their own lives makes athletes ideal advocates for our work. They embody the best values of sport and recognize the impact play can have on shaping a better future.

WHAT DO OUR AMBASSADORS DO? Athlete Ambassadors volunteer their time and lend their voice to raise awareness for the cause. When an Ambassador visits our programs to witness our work with children, they play an important role in spreading the word about the impact of play on education, health and life skills. They attend Right To Play events and promote fundraising campaigns in traditional and social media.
