Paralympic swimmer Benoit Huot is actively involved in raising awareness and funds for Right To Play. A key participant in our 2013 National Inspirational Speaker Series, he travelled across the country helping motivate youth about their personal development, while teaching them about the Sport for Development and Peace movement. The nine-time Paralympic gold medalist visited our projects in Mali in 2007 and in Rwanda in 2013 and enjoys sharing his unique insight into the evolution of our programming with others.
"It's incredible to see the difference Right To Play makes for the children around the world. Most of the time in these countries, the ultimate goal when you get up in the morning is to make sure you have enough food and a place to sleep. Playing comes very far in their culture. "
