Billy Bridges

Para-Hockey

Billy Bridges was born in Summerside, PEI, and a 6 time Paralympian in the sport of Para-hockey, (formally known as sledge hockey). He is a 4 time medalist (1 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze) and has 4 World Championships to his name.  Living with the effects of Spina Bifida, his limited mobility means he uses a wheelchair; however his disability hasn't stopped him from gaining international notoriety as a powerful hockey player. Billy has climbed the ranks to become one of the top players in the world having scored the most points in the history of Para-hockey. Billy has been a supporter of Right to Play since 2011.
