Sade McCreath

Sprinting

Sade is a Canadian Olympic Sprinter, who has been involved with sports since she was 5 years old. She started out wanting to be a gymnast however she fell in love with sprinting in elementary school and thus changed her focus to the track. She eventually got a D1 scholarship to an HBCU in Florida and returned home competing for Team Canada. 

Since then she has been on 5 National teams now holding a Canadian record in the Women’s 4x100m. When Sade is not on the track she works as a Probation and Parole Officer in Ontario. Sade volunteers with the ElevateGirls program in Ajax, Ontario speaking to young girls about her journey and the adversities she’s faced in sports.
