"I am convinced that the work of Right To Play helps children in disadvantaged countries around the world to prepare themselves physically and mentally for life, have fun and experience happy moments."
Sergei Aschwanden is a former Swiss judoka who celebrated his greatest success at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing when he fought his way to third place. After announcing his retirement after this highlight, the man from Vaud is now active as a judo trainer and in regional politics. As the father of three children, the well-being of the next generation is particularly close to his heart, and Sergei Aschwanden has been a passionate athlete ambassador for Right To Play since 2009.
