Community Mentors (CMs) participated in a week of remote training sessions to build positive coping skills with youth. Through the sessions, CMs explored key coping skills like expressing emotions, communication, positive relationships, conflict resolution, self-assertiveness and self-awareness. In other sessions, CMs dove into mental wellness promotion through traditional sport and connection to culture. CMs wrapped up the week by diving deeper into additional program resources:(i) Taking Care: Coping Skills, (ii) Digital Games Manual, and (iii) Play Opportunities for Wellness and Education Resource (P.O.W.E.R.).
