Martina Hingis

Tennis

"In tennis, I was able to realize my talent and fulfill my dreams. I want all children to have this opportunity and develop their potential. Therefore I support Right To Play. This international organisation uses the positive power of play and sport to teach children and young people in disadvantaged areas important knowledge, values and skills."

Martina Hingis is probably the most successful Swiss tennis player of all time. At the tender age of 16, she won her first Grand Slam title in London and became the youngest number 1 in the world rankings. After two celebrated comebacks, she finally retired in 2017. Since 2005, Right To Play has been able to count on Martina Hingis as its athlete ambassador. She is passionately committed to the welfare of disadvantaged children - as sport has fundamentally changed her life, Martina Hingis is passionate about every child's right to play and sports.
