Maria has over 20 years of combined professional experience in development works in Project coordination and management, CSOs capacity building and organizational development particularly in areas of Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) Facilitation development and implementation of Capacity Development Plans (CDPs) Monitoring and evaluations as well as facilitation of Strategic Plans developments. Maria has been serving as a Program Manager for Tanzania Program since 2017, Maria has acted as Country Director in Tanzania in 2019 and 2022 respectively. Before joining Right To Play, Maria worked with Chemonics International under Capacity Development for Partners of Accountability (CDPA) as an Organizational Development specialist (ODS), as well as Worked for Action Aid International Tanzania (AAIT) as a Project Manager. Maria has a Masters of Arts in rural Development from Sokoine University of Morogoro Tanzania and Bachelors of Arts in Social Sciences obtained from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi Kenya. These are just some of the qualifications Maria has earned from formal education. Maria is married and a mother of three children.
